Our Sustainability Aspiration
The Building Owner Cbus Property Pty Ltd together with Jones Lang LaSalle, is endeavoring to pursue and achieve industry leading sustainability initiatives and together, aspire to make a positive impact on our environment.
For us, this means an integrated approach to sustainability initiatives within the Building from the design stage to implementation and subsequent engagement of compliant service providers - optimising our ability to provide real social, economic and environmental outcomes.
Society as a whole is now confronting the dual challenge of a rapidly growing demand for an increasing limited level of resources with the need to reduce the environmental impact of our previous, current and future economic growth. As the awareness and importance of this aspiration builds we are, in conjunction with our tenants, evolving personal values, cultures and approaches to processes and procedures.
We are committed to acting sustainably and to further this focus a Sustainability Committee has been created within the building in conjunction with the tenants to intensify and broaden our existing partnership to help drive sustainability values. The initiatives from this Committee are communicated back to all tenants and adopted by CBus Property Pty Ltd so that all organisations can benefit from this opportunity.
